Educated in Canada at The University of Western Ontario <http://www.uwo.ca/> , Stu (Stuart) Hansen completed the Honors Business Administration program at the Richard Ivey School of Business. Since 2011, Stu Hansen has been serving a dual role as Vice President of International Investments for Drewco Development Corporation and as Vice President for Marquee Asset Management, LLC, reporting to Allan Drewlo, President of Drewco Development Corporation. As Vice President at Marquee, he is responsible for setting up operations in the United States for Drewco, which is a 30-year-old Canadian real estate investment company. Mr. Hansen will oversee the company’s expansion into California and along the West Coast. His role includes seeking investments for Drewco’s partners. He is also responsible for the oversight of plans to build and manage properties including apartments and single-family homes in the U.S. Additionally, he serves as President of Shelter Asset Management LLC, a U.S. subsidiary of Marquee Asset Management LLC.

Beginning his career as a market researcher with Clarion Hotels in 1988 in Canada <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada> , Stuart Hansen was quickly promoted to the position of Marketing and Sales Manager within the company. In this role, he was responsible for sales forecasting and budgeting as well as managing projects involving renovations at the hotel. Moving through the ranks within a few years, Stu Hansen received another promotion to Group Operations Director and Development Coordinator. In this position, he held responsibility for a multimillion-dollar budget and was involved in the acquisition and restoration of hotel properties. In 1992, he took on the role of Vice President of Clarion Group and oversaw a multimillion-dollar project related to the redevelopment of hotels into shopping centers. He also took charge of divesting millions worth of hotel properties.

Mr. Hansen then held various roles with Drewco and Allan Drewlo-related companies before moving on to his current role as Vice President of International Investments for Drewco Development Corporation <http://www.drewloholdings.com> in 2006.
